Moku Moku Yu is a timber bathhouse set amidst the pine forest at Risonare. It was built by Klein Dytham Architecture in 2006. Klein Dytham Architecture has received numerous awards and is known worldwide.
The Japanese bath is one of the quintessential Far Eastern experiences. You can enjoy it here at Risonare under the open sky in our konyoku rotenburo (outdoor communal bath). Men and women seperate at the entrance for preliminary washing, then reunite again outside. Suited to couples and families alike, the bath’s design emulates a tuft of bubbles set in the great outdoors, circular tubs linked together in a feeling of comfortable, natural ease. All guests wear towels for comfort. (It is required to wear the brown towel when use konyoku rotenburo as men and women use it together.Brown towel is arranged at each single-sex bath.)
